BridgePort, a fintech company specializing in off-exchange settlement infrastructure for digital assets, has successfully raised $3.2 million in seed funding. The round was led by Further Ventures and saw participation from notable investors including Virtu, XBTO, Blockchain Founders Fund, Fun Fair Ventures, and Humla Ventures.
The company’s middleware platform offers secure, interoperable connectivity between exchanges, custodians, and trading firms. By enabling real-time messaging and coordinated collateral management, BridgePort eliminates the need for prefunding, significantly reducing both credit and settlement risk. This innovative approach improves capital efficiency and enhances post-trade operations across the institutional crypto ecosystem.
With the newly secured capital, BridgePort plans to accelerate platform development and scale its team to meet growing demand. The platform is already live in production on AWS and supports integration via REST APIs, FIX protocol, and custom connectivity solutions.
BridgePort is actively onboarding regulated custodians and exchanges as it expands its settlement network. Upcoming platform upgrades will introduce advanced collateral management tools and enhanced pre-trade credit risk capabilities.
