Conio has secured its spot among the select group of innovative fintech firms participating in the program, which aims to foster collaboration and accelerate the growth of pioneering companies in the financial and payment sectors across Europe.
The Visa Innovation Program, already active in several countries including Italy, Greece, Spain, and Portugal, has attracted a remarkable response since its inception in 2018. With over 1,000 fintech companies from more than 50 countries applying, this year’s edition alone received nearly 300 applications.
In Italy, Hackquarters and Talent Garden will provide support for the fintech growth platform. Conio’s impressive demonstration of its skill set and business models with potential for international scalability allowed the company to stand out among the 111 Italian applications received this year. Joining Conio in the program are five other promising Italian companies – CashDirector, Fairtile, INEO, Step 4 Business, and VOICEME.
Visa has a strong history of collaboration with fintech companies, offering them access to its global partner network each year. This invaluable opportunity provides visibility and necessary capabilities for the development of these businesses. The Visa Innovation Program goes beyond practical support, encompassing tools, data, technological infrastructure, and the chance to expand business prospects through knowledge sharing and new customer opportunities.
