Worldpay® and Capital One have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at enhancing payment security and efficiency through a comprehensive data-sharing agreement. This partnership integrates Capital One’s fraud risk decisioning engine directly with Worldpay’s premier fraud detection and prevention solution, FraudSight™.
Enhanced Fraud Prevention with Reduced False Positives
The collaboration between Worldpay and Capital One is designed to significantly improve fraud detection while minimizing false positive declines. Merchants utilizing Worldpay’s FraudSight™ solution will benefit from real-time data sharing with Capital One’s fraud risk decisioning engine, particularly for transactions involving Capital One-issued cards. This integration is expected to reduce false positive declines by an average of 40%, based on Capital One’s internal data since the launch of its Direct Data Share program.

This collaboration is currently available to U.S.-based merchants using Worldpay’s payment services and its multi-layered fraud solution, FraudSight, while processing payments made with Capital One-issued cards.
